We had a meeting with one of our major sponsor groups, the PMMC (Packaging Machine Manufacturers Consortium) on Tuesday. We were describing our goals for next season and how we wanted to start some FLL teams in our area. There were a lot of questions asked and interest was definitely shown.
Later that day, our head coach checked his email and the PMMC decided to buy 4 new ev3 kits!!!!!! That's a $2000 commitment to get a real start to our FLL plans. WOAH! We were so surprised and grateful.
We are really lucky to live in such a wonderful community that supports FIRST so much. We cannot wait to get this initiative really going this summer. It's going to be a very busy fall!!
