Luckily, this year we were able to have our table set up and robot out shooting Frisbees. One of our team's major goals this coming season is getting more mentors. This was an AWESOME opportunity to recruit some more. Kacy, Molly, Heidi, Carson, Jade, and Bydlon were able to one-on-one talk to at least 40 employees about mentoring, about 10 employees took a business card and information sheet, and two employees have already emailed Bydlon about helping out this year. YAY!

Douglas Machine Picnic
FIRST Robotics Team 3313 Mechatronics visited one of our major sponsors, Douglas Machine on July 24.
Douglas Machine is a member of the Packaging Machine Manufacturers Consortium, one of our team's major sponsors. Every July, they have a company wide picnic where all 700+ employees come outside the facility in Alexandria, MN and enjoy some delicious food and just hang out.
Luckily, this year we were able to have our table set up and robot out shooting Frisbees. One of our team's major goals this coming season is getting more mentors. The weather was beautiful, the pork chops were super delicious, and we were able to educate and inspire many different adults in our area. Sounds like a great day to us!
