Robot Boot Camp

Today was a busy one, as would be expected from so soon in the build season. With the new game just out, everyone has their own ideas and ways to build the new robot. Now all we have to do is find the perfect idea that won't make us fail immediately and be eliminated from the game. Easy... right?

Build team is hard at work doing not only that, but so much more. Today they're focusing on the gripper prototype. The day before they had started on ideas for it, and found a few that work. Today, they're finding out how to refine and improve the idea,  along with making hoops as well. They also started on making a boot or kicker, to kick the exercise balls around. This game is going to be a lot of things, but boring is not going to be one of them.

Programming isn't doing much, considering they don't yet have a robot to program. With the drive program already made, there's really nothing they can do at the moment.

As for PR, we couldn't be busier. With the Chairman's award, Business plan, and blog, you could say we've got our hands full. We're making great progress in both awards, and I'm not giving anything away, but they look amazing! Everyone on the team is getting exited about the competition, and you really can't blame them.
