Sunday is an odd day for a meeting, but we just couldn't wait to get started! So we met in the work shop to build the new field for 2013 and start designing and prototyping a robot for this years competition.
Getting a field early on became a high priority this year. So right away we got the plans and went to work. After a couple of hours measuring, cutting, and drilling; Bryce, Bydlon, Ramsey, Ryan, and Carson had all 5 of the goals and feeders completed. Once it was set up, there was a full size view of the field. Which was a lot larger than we had thought it would be.
Kacy and Jade were busy working on the business plan, for the Entrepreneurship Award, in the computer lab.
Dalton, Brandon, and Tyler went to Myhr Fabrications to start the creation of a prototype shooter and discuss the building of the game field pyramid.
When Dalton, Brandon, and Tyler returned we grouped together and discussed plans for this years robot.
Altogether, it was a productive day!
