Career Expo

At our local middle school, Team 3313 Mechatronics was invited to hold a booth for 9th and 10th grade students. A major reason we had been invited was because next year at our new high school, Mr. Bydlon, the head coach of our team and FTC Autobotics 7799, will be teaching an FTC class!

The Career Expo was an exciting opportunity. We were able to inform students of the new class, which will be called "Stem Robotics," and recruit more students for our FRC team. The class offered will be one of the most hands on class we will have and students will be able to work with our new CNC mill and the new 3D printer. After they build their robot they will compete at the Qualifiers. This is great for students who are unable to participate after school due to sports or other activities.

Overall, it was a successful day of recruiting students for the new class and for our current team. Mr. Bydlon as always, is excited for this season, and for the new classes he will get to teach next year. The students are equally as excited to be able to have FIRST robotics during school.
